Programming user defined atmospheres
Many anaerobic as well as many micro-aerophilic organisms can be incubated with the standard recipes incorporated in the Anoxomat (respectively with 0% and with 6% of oxygen). However, many laboratories wish to optimize growth conditions, or wish to test certain atmospheric conditions in each separate jar, by varying Oxygen, Carbon dioxide and Hydrogen levels.

This is possible with some of the Anoxomat models. These models can be programmed in order to achieve customer-defined atmospheric conditions in each jar. Once a recipe has been programmed, it will stay available in the memory of the Anoxomat until it is deleted or overwritten.

Old models (WSxxxx):
The old models have to be programmed step by step. Mart Microbiology will send you a scheme to reach the desired gas mixture in the jar. A user can enter this scheme into the Anoxomat. This recipe will be saved in the memory for future reference.

Current model (AN2CTS):
The new model can be pre-programmed by Mart Microbiology or can be programmed by the user. Please view under under Options - Pre-programmed recipe or Options - User programming function.
